Képzése: shall/will + have + az ige 3. alakja
+ By the time I get home, they will have cooked the dinner.
- By the time I get home, they will not have cooked the dinner.
? By the time I get home, will they have cooked the dinner? - No, they will not. (won't)
+ Yes, they will.
Használata:
A beszélt nyelvben ritkán használjuk, vagy ha igen, akkor is csak kijelentő állító mondatokban.
- a jövő egy adott időpontjára már lezárult cselekvés kifejezésére (konkrét időhatározóval vagy Simple Presentben kifejezett tagmondattal.)
By noon my friend will have arrived in London. (Délre a barátom meg fog érkezni Londonba.)
When you wake up tomorrow, I will have done the shopping. (Mire felkelsz holnap, bevásárolok.)
2. olyan cselekvés kifejezésére, amely folyamatban lesz egy későbbi időpontban vagy későbbi cselekvés indulásakor (időhatározó: since, for)
By next summer we will have lived here for 10 years (Jövő nyáron lesz tíz éve, hogy itt lakunk.)
